Rice was grown in the land around the centre from August till Oct to Nov



The process of growing rice
1. Clear the land
2. Poke holes into the ground
3. Plant the seeds
4. Allow the rice wheat to grow
5. Harvest the whole wheat stalks
6. Allow the wheat stalks to dry
7. Beat the wheat stalk to get the rice.
8. Collect the rice and blow off the empty husk
9. Collect the rice and send to remove the grain's hull

Card Making Process.


The children sew the cross stitches during their free time.
The small pieces of cloth are soaked and washed.
The small pieces of cloth are placed in the sun and ironed.
Lastly they are stuck into a card template
and packed neatly into a plastic sheet.
